Policies Issued by the Publisher Regarding Book Publishing, Effective from June 1, 2026
Our respectful greetings to all authors and readers. We hope that you are all safe, happy, and in good health. As is well known, we periodically introduce new initiatives on behalf of the publishing house—endeavors that you often appreciate greatly, and occasionally, may find less agreeable. Sustaining the immense affection and trust you have placed in us over the years, this publishing house continues to advance along the path of progress and has successfully established new milestones.
Change is the only absolute truth—often referred to as the very nature of the universe. It is our sincere desire that we, together, take a new step forward to pave the way for continued progress. In this spirit, we are presenting a set of new policies for your consideration. We hope that these new changes will succeed in writing a new chapter in our shared journey, thereby forging an even stronger bond between us.
- As one of India’s leading publishing houses, we have consistently provided excellent and timely services to you—our authors and readers. Our enduring presence among you serves as a testament to the mutual trust that exists between us.
- Effective June 1, 2026, we will be implementing minor adjustments to our services and the associated pricing. While this may result in a negligible increase in costs for you, it will in no way compromise the quality of our services.
- Previously, for book publishing projects exceeding a value of ₹10,000, you were permitted to make payments in two installments; this practice will continue to remain in effect. While this installment rule previously applied to amounts lower than ₹10,000, it will no longer be applicable as of May 30; the publishing house is currently in the process of discontinuing this specific payment arrangement.
- Going forward, authors will be required to make payments for their selected publishing packages in two installments only. The first installment will be due at the time the book preparation process begins, and the remaining balance will be due upon the completion of the book. In the event that the full payment is not received, the delivery of the books will be withheld. 5. Editing services for the book will be provided free of charge on only two occasions. For any additional editing requested by the author, a fee of ₹10 per A5-sized page will be applicable. For A4-sized pages, the fee will be ₹15.
- If the number of pages in the book exceeds the stipulated limit, the author will be required to pay an additional charge of ₹1.40 per A5-sized page. For A4-sized pages, this amount will be ₹1.50.
- The minimum page count for a paperback edition is 100, while for a hardcover edition, it is 130. The per-page production cost for a hardcover edition will be ₹1.80
- An 18% GST (Goods and Services Tax) on the selected publishing package, along with applicable shipping charges, will be payable separately.
- The minimum book publishing package is priced at ₹5,000, on which an 18% GST is payable separately. Under this package, the author will receive 30 copies of a 100-page book, delivered to their address with free shipping.
- If the book is published under a promotional offer, the publication will proceed strictly in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of that offer. For advance booking, it is mandatory to deposit a booking amount of ₹1,000 per book; furthermore, the book must be published within one month of the booking date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the deposited booking amount.
- Prior to publication, please thoroughly review the manuscript to identify and rectify any errors. Once the book has gone to print following your final approval, no further revisions or modifications will be possible. Additionally, please refrain from deleting any correspondence—such as emails or WhatsApp chats—exchanged between the publisher and the author. Formal approval will be recognized only if provided in writing.
- For print runs of 500 copies or more, complimentary shipping and an attractive discount will be provided.
- All payments regarding book publishing fees must be made exclusively to the company’s designated bank account. 14. If the book is to be published in color, please obtain information regarding the pricing from the publisher.
